5 REASONS WHY GOD WANTS YOU TO PROSPER

Prosperity is the state of flourishing, thriving, good fortune or successful social status.[1]Prosperity often encompasses wealth but also includes other factors which can be independent of wealth to varying degrees, such as happiness and health.
And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God.” Deu 28:2
1.GOD DELIGHTS IN THE PROSPERITY OF HIS PEOPLE
Psalms 35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

Notice it says “Let them say continually, let the Lord be magnified which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant”. This means that as the Lord is prospering and blessing our life, we should be telling people everywhere that it is God doing this. Whenever you see God increasing and prospering your life, begin to open your mouth and let people know who’s responsible!
It is also impossible to believe and exercise faith for a thing without knowing it’s Gods will to do it in your life. It is Gods will to prosper you, because He takes pleasure in your prosperity!
2.WE ARE CHILDREN OF ABRAHAM AND HIS BLESSING BELONGS TO US!
Gal 3:9 So all who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received because of his faith.
Genesis 12:2-3 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
I encourage you to study Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Notice that even in times when everyone else lacked, they prospered and increased. We are children of Abraham, and the Bible says the blessings that were on Abraham belong to all those who put their faith in Christ! God said that His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Many people are unaware that Abrahams blessings belong to them, and they miss out because they never exercise faith to obtain what belongs to them! Remember, “Without FAITH it is impossible to believe God!” Hebrews 11.
3.SO THAT YOU CAN BE A BLESSING
…remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ Acts 20:35
Many confuse “getting blessed” with “being blessed”. We should be more focused on blessing others than our own blessing because that is the purpose of the blessing. Any beggar on the street can get blessed. God does not want His people to live with their hands out like a beggar looking for blessing. Jesus even said we are to take no thought for our own lives. Know that God wants you to have MORE than enough to help others! But, it starts with you being a blessing where you’re at right now, using what’s in your hands now to be a blessing and then believing the Lord to increase you!
God wants to make you be a blessing to
1. Everyone. Especially Your Brothers and Sisters in Christ
Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest, if we do not give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone–especially to those in the family of faith. Gal 6:9-10
2. His Kingdom
This means your Church, World Missions, Traveling Ministers, etc..
2 Cor 8:4 They begged us again and again for the privilege of sharing in the gift for the believers in Jerusalem.
3. To the Poor
Proverbs 19:17 Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.
4.TO ESTABLISH HIS COVENANT
God promised Prosperity for people in the Old Covenant when they walked in obedience and listened to the voice of the Lord. If this was included in the Old Covenant then how much more can we expect it in the New Covenant? The Bible says we’re under better a covenant based off of better promises.
Deu 8:18 But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
5.JESUS BROKE THE CURSE OF POVERTY AND LACK
Poverty and Lack was a curse under the Law. The Bible says in Galatians 3:13-14, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ…” Lack has no place in a believers life. Psalms says, “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not LACK!” God wants to prosper you because God does not want you to lack anything.
2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich
