Help From Above

Welcome to the last week of November 2021. We bless God for being faithful at all times and in all situations.

This is to us a week of HELP FROM ABOVE

“I will lift my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth”

(Psalm 121:1-2)

Help from above is a help that cannot be stopped by any mortal. It is a help that cannot be mixed with sorrow. It is a help that causes you to be a wonder to many. It is a help that puts your enemy into confusion. It is a help that saves you from shame like the widow of Zarephath. It is a help that delivers unto you victory which your natural capacity and experience cannot give as it did for the Israelites in Joshua 10:11. It is a help that empowers you to do the supernatural just as an old prophet Elijah outrun a chariot in a race of 27 miles (1 Kings 18:46). It is a help that never fails as it comes on time, not too early and not too late. It is a help that fits the purpose it is meant to serve. It is a help that brings restoration. It is a help that puts an end to fruitless efforts as it did for Peter in Luke 5:1-5. It is the help that removes all limitations from every aspect of your life. It is a help that turns scarcity and famine into abundance as it did to the city of Samaria (2 Kings 7:1-8). It is a help that sets you free from bondage. It is a help that makes your glory shine despite efforts of the power of darkness against your shining. It is a help that gives you healing from long time sickness as it did to the woman with the issue of blood for 12 years (Mark 5:25-34). It is a help that breaks all protocol to favour you as it did to Joseph who became a prime minister in a country where he did not have citizenship status. It is a help that turns barrenness to fruitfulness as we see in the life of Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth. It is the help that makes a young man finds a good wife that is met for him and a young woman to get a good husband that will not destroy her. My advice to you is that you should be careful about where or whom you get help from. Stop seeking help where there is none, or from the wrong source or help that are useless to your need. In our anchor scripture, the psalmist is quite aware of this hence he says his help will come from the Lord who makes heaven and the earth. The person who has the power, wisdom, understanding and knowledge to create heaven and earth also has what it takes to meet the needs of all the creatures therein. This God attends to the minute and detailed needs of a tiny sparrow so He is there to attend to you who has more value than the sparrow. Meanwhile, endeavour to stay away from sin, have absolute confidence in God, pray to Him always while you continuously praise Him. You will not be put to shame in Jesus name as every blessing comes your way. I declare you more than a conqueror this week and beyond in Jesus name.

God bless you
