Numbers 23:19-20(NLT) “19God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? 20Listen, I received a command to bless; God has blessed, and I cannot reverse it!”
The thing is God’s already commanded His blessing upon us all, and it cannot be reversed, because God cannot lie and does not change his mind concerning His good plan for your life.
If God has made a promise, He’s good for it. But, we need to be where God’s commanded blessing is supposed to manifest for our lives. God had to ask Abram to separate himself from His folks, before God’s divine plan and blessing could manifest in His life.
"The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. 3 I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.” - Genesis 12:1-3
Abram's obeyed God's instruction to leave the comfort of his family household and everything he is familiar with, to go to a place he did not know, was prompted by his trust in God, and faith in God's trustworthiness, because he knew God cannot lie.
And God rewarded the obedience big time. He blessed him and Abram him into a great nation according to the promise.
Are you where God’s called you to be? Are doing what God is called you to be doing? Are you walking in obedience to His commandments? All through Scriptures, we see that Obedience is the hinge on which the blessings of God swings.
Most times, folks don't experience and enjoy the fullness of God's commanded blessings in their lives, because of unbelief, doubt and disobedience. In that case, our prayer should be for God to reveal an in-depth knowledge of who He is, His power, and His plans for our lives. And when we receive this revelation, we then begin to understand who God is and what He is capable of doing.
We get so caught up in everything else going on in and around our lives, that we miss those moments of God's amazing revelation to truly appreciate His awesomeness and abilities!
God's commanded blessing is there for all, but we must be willing and obedient to partake of them.
