MY PIECE OF ADVICE TO THE GOVERNOR OF NASARAWA STATE

Haven observed the carnages, insecurity and great conspiracy against the people of Nasarawa State from powers that be, I wish to make the following recommendations to whoever that will drive the affairs of the government of Nasarawa State; 

a, To establish an internal security outfit call COUNTER CONFLICT UNIT (C.C.U) in each senatorial districts headquarters, if possible, to the large extend to be replicated into all the state interior parts.

b, They will assist and synergizing with existing securities bodies like the police, civil defence, Military etc in tackling conflicts in the state. 

c, They are also to be saddle with the responsibility of resolving communal conflicts, misunderstandings.

d, Again they should synergize with  community and opinion leaders to using Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in settling mishaps etc. 

The Recruitment  Process 

1. Recruit 13,000 youth that are willing to work even for free for the safety of the only place they call their home with 1000 per L.G. into Counter Conflict Unit.

2. After that, send a bill to the State House of Assembly mandating a compulsory; 

(a) Deduction of 1% of every worker's monthly salary 

(b) Categorized charges on businesses in the state depending on their capacities 

(c) Mandatory deduction of 2% of LGs monthly subventions 

(d) Top whatever is accrued with your security vote 

(e) Establish a special commission to manage that fund. The core mandate of the commission should be to direct the funds into; 

(i) Payment of stipends to the Youth Volunteers

(ii) Provision of LOGISTICS generally to the operators within the armbits of the law.

You are constitutionally empowered to protect your people. 

Don't waste your time assembling some so-called leaders in the name of "Peace Talks", because NOTHING will EVER come out of that since the attackers are never part of those meetings and the only language they understand is WAR. You must adopt legal strategies of matching them to their game.

Politicians and some religious leaders will deceive you that they have solutions to the problems, never listen to them because their interest is their pockets.

Running to the same people causing these crises will only worsen it.

Think outside the box box or use sophisticated  tools to unlock the box sir

GIVING IS LIVING - H.E. Rev. Amb. Bright Otso

In 1892 at _Stanford University_, an 18-year-old student was struggling to pay his fees. He was an orphan, and not knowing where to turn for money, he came up with a bright idea. He and a friend decided to host a musical concert on campus to raise money for their education.

They reached out to the great pianist Ignacy J. Paderewski. His manager demanded a guaranteed fee of $2000 for the piano recital. A deal was struck and the boys began to work to make the concert a success.

The big day arrived. But unfortunately, they had not managed to sell enough tickets. The total collection was only $1600. Disappointed, they went to Paderewski and explained their plight. They gave him the entire $1600, plus a cheque for the balance of $400. They promised to honour the cheque as the soonest possible.

“No,” said Paderewski. 

“This is not acceptable.” He tore up the cheque, returned the $1600 and told the two boys: “Here’s the $1600. Please deduct whatever expenses you have incurred. Keep the money you need for your fees. And just give me whatever is left”. The boys were surprised and thanked him profusely.

It was a small act of kindness. But it marked Paderewski as a great human being.

Why should he help two people he did not even know? We all come across situations like these in our lives. And most of us only think “If I help them, what would happen to me?” The truly great people think, “If I don’t help them, what will happen to them?” They don’t do it expecting something in return. They do it because they feel it’s the right thing to do.

Paderewski later went on to become the Prime Minister of Poland. He was a great leader, but unfortunately, when the World War began, Poland was ravaged. More than 1.5 million people were starving in his country, and no money to feed them. Paderewski did not know where to turn for help. He reached out to the US Food and Relief Administration for help.

He heard there was a man called Herbert Hoover — who later went on to become the US President. Hoover agreed to help and quickly shipped tons of food grains to feed the starving Polish people.

_A calamity was averted_. Paderewski was relieved. 

He decided to go across to meet Hoover and personally thank him. When Paderewski began to thank Hoover for his _noble gesture_ Hoover quickly interjected and said, " You shouldn’t be thanking me, Mr Prime Minister. You may not remember this, but several years ago, you helped two young students go through college. I was one of them .”

The world is a wonderful place. What goes around comes around. Please help others to the best of your ability. In the long run, you may be helping yourself. God never forgets anyone who sows a good seed in other people, never_.  

Nothing in nature lives for itself. Rivers don't drink their water. Trees don't eat their fruit. Sun doesn't give heat for itself. Flowers don't spread fragrances for themselves. Living for others is the rule of nature. And therein lies the secret of living. 

Finally, give your life to Jesus Christ, if you have not done so. Our Lord God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16; Matthew 6:33; Gal 6:7 will be of great assistance to you.

LIVING A KAIROS LIFE IN A CHRONOS WORLD

 

Everything we do is marked by the steady march of time. Seconds lead from minutes to hours to days to weeks to years to decades to centuries.

The problem for all of us is that the clock is always running the wrong way, and we simply cannot stop its precipitous crawl toward the next tick. We lose moments to the past, out of our reach, never to be regained.

Where did all the years go?

The kids have grown and gone. We're muddling along in a career, making a living, just existing out of habit more than anything.

Did I miss out on my chance to make a difference?

The Greek language has a couple of words that mean "time." The first is most familiar—Chronos. It means the chronology of days, governed by the carefully calculated earth's sweep around the sun. God himself ordained this measurement of days on the fourth day of Creation, spinning the heavenly lights "for seasons, and days and years."

Boy, do I know about time. The wrinkles etched on my face; the wrinkles etched on my heart are the visual reminders of Chronos.

But another word for time is also used in the New Testament—kairos. This speaks more to specific, God-ordained times throughout history, sometimes called the "right time" or "appointed season" (Titus 1:3).  Kairos is God's dimension—one not marked by the past, the present, or the future.

When Jesus came, it was a fulfilment of promises past, a cosmic collision of the sacred and secular. It was an intersection of the holy will of God and the stubborn ways of man. It was a perfect moment.  John the Baptist said in Mark 1:15 that "time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand." 

This godly kairos pierced its way into a creation at just the right time, slicing through Chronos with a cry of a baby in a manger.

The cross was another kairos moment. Romans 5:6 says, "For while we were still helpless, at the right time, Christ died for the ungodly."

Kairos moments then—and now—allow us to get a glimpse of the "other side." We peek around the corner at eternity. We glimpse how God works.

As the omniscient, omnipresent Deity, God is not bound by the confines of space or time. That's why He flows into our existence when we least expect Him. When we ask for something right away, it might not always come. Or when we don't ask at all. But he shows up. It can be frustrating, "with the Lord one day is as a thousand years."  It can also be surprising "a thousand years as one day." (2 Pet 3:8).

We should always live our days looking for those moments, those inexplicable times when His will and his way intersect with our daily walks.

And they can happen anytime! A friend calls you out of the blue to give a good word. A child's innocent joy pierces a long, hard day of struggle. A coworker takes a moment to lend a hand. God is always surprising us with his perfect, kairos timing.

His story was one of those stories that helped strengthen my mindset and to understand that anyone can indeed move from poverty to riches, failure to success, nothing to something, nobody to somebody regardless of your background or how bad the economy ...be...

Fuller was inborn 1905 to two farmers and throughout his childhood and teenage years, all he knew was consistent lack, want and deep poverty... But all that changed when his Mum was about t...e...

On her deathbed, she said to fuller “we shouldn’t be poor and don’t ever let me hear 👂 you say it is God’s will because it is not. We are only poor because we never developed the desire for anything else” we didn’t explore opportunities that could get us to the next ...l...

Littleness or greatness is not a respecter of person, creed, colour, race, background, tribe, family or nationality but knowledge, I mean what information you carry.

These few words become deeply ingrained in fuller’s mind and ultimately changed his life. 

He developed the desire to become rich and his desire soon turned into an obsession and he latebecomesme one of the richest maofin his time...

Listen, you can be, have or do anything you want - only if you want it hard enough...

Success is the combination of a lot of things 

But some things are very important that you cannot do without and if you get it right then you are going on a progressive journey to becoming successful and your *MINDSET IS ONE OF THEM...*

 If you would agree with me you are what you think and what you think is who you become

So by implication, you are your mindset. To what extent of greatness you can see and visualize is what you can achieve

2023 ELECTIONS IN NIGERIA-SPECIAL PRAYERS

In what many are calling the most critical election of our lifetime, much is at stake in the 2023 election, not only for Nigeria but also for Christians at large. It can be challenging trying to figure out how to navigate the choppy waters surrounding our nation today. But when you look past the chaos, it’s easy to see what we are to do—VOTE and PRAY.

In this time leading up to the blessed opportunity we have to cast our votes, we can press in with fervent, effectual prayer that avails much. Here are five prayer points for the 2023 election that will pave the way for victory in Nigeria.

1. Pray for Christian Voters

“The people who know their God shall stand firm and take action.” –Daniel 11:32 (ESV)

In the 2019 presidential election, millions of Christians who were registered to vote sat out and neglected their right and responsibility to vote. At the same time, millions of Christians were not even registered to vote. That’s a total of  millions missing votes! Enough to make a sweeping change across Nigeria.

As you pray for the 2023 election, first and foremost, pray for Christian voters. You can do so as follows.

Pray that Christians will remember that their vote influences far more than just the presidency. (In 2023, Nigerians will be voting to elect governors, senators, House representatives, state legislators and tens of thousands of local government leaders.)

Pray that, during this monumental opportunity to impact our entire nation, all Christians will honor Galatians 6:10 (MEV), which says, “As we have opportunity, let us do good,” and that they will vote for righteousness.

Pray for an unprecedented Christian voter turnout and that the Spirit of God will be over Christian voters as His Spirit was over the waters (Genesis 1:2).

Together, let’s expect the Church to unify and to see miracles like we’ve never seen in any election process before!

2. Pray for the Candidates

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.” –1 Timothy 2:1-2 (ESV)

Through this verse, we are not only called to pray for leaders but also those seeking to become leaders. While we pray for those in authority every day, now is our opportunity to pray for the candidates as follows:

Pray that godly men and women will rise up, run for office and WIN.

Pray for wisdom, strength and perseverance in the face of strong opposition.

Pray for supernatural favor, for voters to show up in support of righteousness, and for even the unlikely candidates to take victory.

Pray for the impossible to surprise even the most seasoned political analysts.

Never assume that something is a done deal. God delights in superseding what man thinks is possible. All we have to do is pray and believe!

3. Pray for the Election Process

“And I will make justice the line, and righteousness the plumb line.” –Isaiah 28:17 (ESV)

Many are expecting riots and violence, no matter what the outcome of the 2023 elections is. But not us. We’re faith people! We don’t expect tragedy; we pray and believe for peace, justice and VICTORY. Here’s how you can pray for the election process:

Pray that the Spirit of peace and order will sweep across the nation—thwarting the enemy’s attacks.

Bind the spirit of unrest and anarchy in the Name of Jesus, and plead the blood of Jesus over our nation and our election process.

Bind the spirit of deception and dishonesty from operating in the election process. Pray that only honest votes will be counted and that the outcome of the 2020 election will reflect the truth.

Pray that there will be no room for argument in any race, but rather, that the outcome will be clear.

We do not receive the curse of lawlessness and unrest in this nation. We, as believers, stand up, use our authority, and declare that this is one nation under God, full of peace and prosperity. All her enemies must flee!

One Word From God Can Change Your Nation

4. Pray for the Media

“But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.” –Romans 1:18

It may seem impossible that the media could ever be on the right side, but all things are possible with God! In this time of divide in our nation, it is imperative that we pray for the media. They influence the way people think and can either stir up hate and division, or promote unity and peace. During this 2023 election, pray for the media in this way:

Ask God to bring what is in the dark into the light—to expose falsehoods and biased agendas in the election process.

That truth will become the new standard in the news media, and that coverage will be honest, reliable and trustworthy.

That all groups will receive fair and unbiased coverage in all reports.

For Christians to rise up in places of authority in all media outlets.

Let’s believe together for a supernatural move of God over the media in Nigeria. Psalm 29:4-8 tells us that “the voice of the Lord is powerful…the voice of the Lord breaks the cedars…[and] shakes the wilderness.” So, we declare that the voice of the Lord is over the media and the 2023 elections!

5. Pray for a Great Awakening

“Now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” –Romans 13:11 (KJV)

Politicians are not the answer to Nigeria’s troubles—a great awakening to God is what we need in Nigeria! During the 2023 election, pray for a great awakening to God in this way:

·      Pray that humility will wash over all people and the veil will be lifted from the eyes of those who are clouded with the ways of the world.

·      Pray against the spirit of deception and for God’s truth to prevail in our culture and nation.

·      Pray for national repentance and a turning away from sin and toward God to take place.

·      Ask the Lord to bring revival to the Church in a fresh, new way.

·      Pray that pastors and Christian leaders will increase in boldness and preach only sound doctrine— and not that which will tickle the listeners’ ears.

·      Pray that Christians and pastors will advance biblical values and select God-honoring leaders to preserve liberty in the Church so that we might freely fulfill the Great Commission.

In addition to these five prayer points for the 2023 election, seek God and ask Him how to pray for our nation. The Holy Spirit knows just what to pray! Your vote is needed, your voice is needed, and your faith through prayer is needed in this hour. Rise up, Army of God—Your time has come!

   Go about the prayers in any of the following ways as you are led by the Holy Spirit:

2. Pray aggressively.

1. I take authority over every contrary power working against me in the environment in the name of Jesus.
2. Power of God, deliver me from every environmental demotion in the name of Jesus.
3. I pull down every controlling power over my environment in the name of Jesus.
4. Every local demonic prince of darkness controlling my territory (Mention your locality), I pull you down in the name of Jesus.
5. Lord, let your angels pursue my pursuers day and night in the name of Jesus.
6. I dismantle every territorial altar ministering against me in the name of Jesus.
7. I charge my environment with the blood of Jesus and the fire of God in the name of Jesus.
8. Let every stronghold and satanic structure in my environment be scattered by fire in the name of Jesus.
9. I take spiritual authority over 500 miles radius from where I stand in the mighty name of Jesus.
10. I speak destruction and confusion into the camp of evil territorial powers in the name of Jesus.
11. My environment becomes too hot for territorial demons to occupy in the name of Jesus.
12. By your mighty power O Lord, barricade my life and my family in Jesus' name.
13. Let my environment refuse to listen to the voice of my enemies in the name of Jesus.
14. I shall thrive in any environment by the power of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus.
15. I shall be an arrow in the hands of God to bring deliverance to His people in the name of Jesus.
16. Fire of the Holy Ghost, saturate my environment and bring forth testimonies for me in the name of Jesus.
17. I bind and cast out every territorial power working against my destiny in this place in the name of Jesus…
18. I command the queen of heaven over my territory, to crash land in the name of Jesus.
19. Every satanic checkpoint in the heavenly is destroyed by the fire of God in the name of Jesus.
20. Every evil power sitting upon the throne of my territory be overthrown in the name of Jesus.
21. My Father and my God, move by your military power and capture this environment to the glory of your name, in Jesus' name. Amen.

1. FATHER, I thank you for this prayer session. Thank you because the weapons of my warfare are not carnal but are mighty to the pulling down of satanic strongholds. As I go into prayer, I pray that you will manifest your presence in my life.
2. I declare that JESUS is Lord over my life-spirit, soul, and body. I am sanctified by the blood of Jesus. I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus. I am justified by the blood of Jesus. I have the life of God in me.
3. Today, every word that I shall speak will please the Lord and glorify His name. These same words shall wreak destruction and havoc in the camp of the enemy in Jesus’ name.
4. I decree civil war among demons, spirits, personalities, and powers set up to oppose these prayers and I break their backbone by the power in the blood of Jesus.
5. Right now let the angel of truth begin to read scriptures and torment every lying demon in Jesus’ name. Let the bonfire of the Holy Ghost begin to burn even as I invite the Holy Spirit and hand over my battles to the LORD in Jesus’ name.
